sketch monsters is a 2 player free to play trading card game where 2 players build a 30 card deck and duel eachother with sketched drawn on paper like creatures and enchantment spells, each player starts with a number of life points (6500 for standard format) and must make the other players lp total go to 0 to win, using you're creature and enchantment cards to do so.
a game of sm is played by 1 player starting, drawing a card, whether its a creature or enchantment playing it on the field or passing the turn to the next player and they do the same, you can play up to 1 enchantment and 1 creature per turn, although you dont have to play any cards you draw right away, you can save them for later, building you're "hand"
creatures are permanent and can only leave the field when killed or exiled/negated by an enchantment, enchantments can be played on the field but cannot be used until the following turn, than players have an option to use an enchant they have played on the field or not, if they do activate 1, than it uses its effect and leaves the field after you're turn ends, unless the card says otherwise.
CREATURES WHEN SUMMONED ON THE FIELD CAN ATTACK RIGHT AWAY, WHEN NO CREATURES ARE ON THE FIELD OR IF OPPONENT CHOOSES NOT TO BLOCK, YOU CAN ATTACK WITH YOU'RE CREATURES AND DO AS MUCH DAMAGE TO YOU'RE OPPONENTS LP AS YOUR CREATURE/'S EQUALED NUMBER OF POWER; HOWEVER WHEN PLAYERS ATTACK WITH CREATURES THE OPPOSING PLAYER CAN RESPOND TO THE ATTACK CALL BY USING AN ENCHANTMENT ON THE FIELD THAT WOULD HELP THEM OR TO BLOCK WITH THEIR OWN CREATURES, IF YOU'RE OPPONENT BLOCKS YOU'RE CREATURES ATTACK, THEY LIVE OR DIE BY THEIR OPPOSING POWER AND DEFENSE POINTS, IF YOUR CREATURES POWER AND DP ARE GREATER THAN YOUR OPPONENTS CREATURES YOU KILL THE CREATURE BUT IF THEY HAVE A GREATER ATTACK BUT WEAK DEFENSE YOU'RE CREATURE CAN STILL KILL IT, IT KILLS BOTH CREATURES, WHEN CREATURES ATTACK AND GET BLOCKED OR WHEN BLOCKING IS MADE, PLAYERS DONT LOSE ANY LIFE UNLESS SAID OTHERWISE.
